October 08, 2012
CANTON, Ohio (Oct. 5, 2012) – Nominations are now being accepted for the Hippocrates Honor Society, a “lifetime achievement” award created by the Aultman Hospital Medical Staff to recognize outstanding physicians who have truly gone above and beyond in their professional careers. Nominees will exemplify the qualities of excellence, compassion, integrity and leadership.
Physicians nominated for this award should meet some of the following criteria, which are not mandatory, but rather serve as guidelines: 10 years of practice as a physician, 10 years of service at Aultman Hospital, civic and community involvement, local or national medical society involvement and professional accomplishments. Nominees for this award should be seasoned physicians who have given selflessly to our community throughout their careers.
Confidential nominations will be accepted from patients, Aultman employees and fellow medical staff members between October 8, 2012 and December 21, 2012. Nomination forms can be found online at www.aultman.org/hippocrates. The second annual class of inductees will be chosen by the Medical Staff Ethos Committee to be inducted into the Hippocrates Honor Society in April 2013.
