CANTON, Ohio (June 9, 2014) – Wayne Health Services & Supplies, Inc., a full-service home medical equipment company in Wooster, will become a subsidiary of Aultman Health Foundation. The agreement is effective July 1, 2014.
“This will be a seamless transition for Wayne Health Services customers,” said Linda Casey, chief operating officer of Aultman Post-Acute Care Services that include Aultman Home Medical Supply. “Wayne Health Services will retain its name and location. The more than 20 staff members will become Aultman Health Foundation employees.”
Upon contemplating the selling of his company, Wayne Health Services owner Titus Yoder looked for a partner that shared similar business principles. “I’m going to retire in a few years,” he shared. “I wanted to partner with a community-minded organization that prides itself on providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. Aultman Health Foundation fits that description.”
Yoder will remain at Wayne Health Services for several years, continuing to manage the day-to-day operations.
Aultman Home Medical Supply – which provides equipment including hospital beds, oxygen/respiratory supplies, wheelchairs, bath safety equipment and more – has locations in Stark and Holmes counties. The addition of Wayne Health Services will give Aultman a new, strong market presence in Wayne County. “Adding Wayne Health Services is a good fit for the Stark, Holmes and Wayne County area,” Casey said. “Wayne Health Services has served Wayne and Holmes counties since 1986 – and will continue to meet the area’s home medical equipment needs.”
