CANTON, Ohio (July 15, 2014) — Aultman Hospital is bringing “The Farmer and the Bow WOW” to the Canton Farmers’ Market to promote healthy habits for the entire family! Join us on Saturday, July 26 from 8 to 11 a.m. for this special family-centered event.
The Aultman Working on Wellness (WOW) van will be on hand to provide health screenings for the whole family - including blood pressure, weight and BMI. In addition, the WOW nurses will be available to provide one-on-one health consultations. Aultman will once again partner with Arrowhead Orchard, who will offer a free apple to all participants who obtain a health screening.
Aultman’s very own Freddie the frog will make a special appearance during the event. An Aultman nurse will be present to speak about the ‘Safe Sleep for Babies’ campaign. In addition, you can learn more about Aultman’s Happy Tails volunteer program, where specially trained dogs and their handlers bring joy to hospitalized patients.
Lastly, Dr. Julia Morrow of The Family Pet Mobile Veterinary Hospital will also be on-site to answer your questions. Enjoy a tour of the mobile vet clinic and receive education from Dr. Morrow and Registered Veterinary Technician Jen Nugent. For more information, visit www.mobilefamilypetvet.com.
