CANTON, Ohio (Feb. 21, 2007) -- AultCare has received the 2006/07 Customer Care Award for Ohio from National Research Corporation (NRC). The award is given as a result of a consumer survey ranking AultCare with the highest member satisfaction in the state.
"Our employees work hard to listen and get answers for our members. And this award is proof that we're focusing on the right things," said AultCare President and CEO Rick Haines. "Our 97 percent client retention rate and our history of service awards are testament to our team's customer service focus. The award was determined by member satisfaction measured in the annual NRC Healthcare Market Guide study. The winning plans named by consumers rank highest in their state. More than 200,000 households representing 400,000 covered lives in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia were surveyed.
"Consumers continue to share more of their health care expenses and are therefore becoming more involved in the health plan process," said NRC Chief Executive Officer Michael D. Hays. "As more health care quality information is made publicly available, we expect this trend of consumer involvement to increase. The 2006/07 Healthcare Market Guide is the nation's largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. No other study used to measure health plan performance contains more consumer responses than NRC's study. The study has a margin of error of + or - 0.2 percent at a national level.
