Goal
The Aultman Health Foundation is a not-for-profit health-care system. Our mission is to meet a broad spectrum of health-care needs in our primary service area of Stark County and secondary areas of Carroll, Tuscarawas, Wayne and Holmes counties. We help the communities we serve through philanthropic giving including donations, sponsorships and other types of charitable support. We also encourage our employees to actively participate in community activities.
Corporate Contributions Philosophy
Aultman's Corporate Contributions Philosophy identifies the efforts it supports through financial contributions to nonprofit organizations. The philosophy requires that contributions to nonprofit organizations meet the following criteria*.
- The organization aligns with Aultman's values.
- The organization's work enhances the quality of life for the communities we serve.
- The organization encourages and supports Aultman employees' involvement.
- Contributions to the organization will increase goodwill for the Aultman Health Foundation.
Requests that do not meet these guidelines may be considered. However, meeting these criteria will weigh heavily in our decision-making process.
*First priority is given to organizations that are clients of Aultman/AultCare.
United Way Organizations
Aultman Health Foundation is a major contributor to United Way of Stark County. We provide a significant corporate donation each year; plus, we encourage our employees to contribute during the annual campaign. Ordinarily, agencies that receive United Way funding will not be considered for additional funding from Aultman.
Areas of Impact
The following areas have been identified as priorities for giving:
- Health and social services
- Education
- Business and economic development
- Art and cultural efforts
- Diversity programs
Exclusions to the Corporate Contributions Philosophy include: - Sponsorships of single individuals for any cause, including scholarships.
- Sponsorships of conventions and conferences.
- Any effort outside the five-county market area.
- Religious, political and fraternal organizations/campaigns.
- Athletic teams and athletic fund-raising events not associated with area schools.
- Any organization that discriminates on the basis of gender, religion, race or sexual orientation.

Please submit your request a minimum of two months in advance of your event for proper consideration. Evaluation
All donations and sponsorships will be evaluated for future support based on effectiveness and impact on the community. For this reason, it is important that you provide a follow-up evaluation for our records.
