Confront Your Grief with New Upcoming Programs at Aultman
CANTON, Ohio (Feb. 3, 2010) – Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care’s Bereavement Program is offering two new programs to help grieving community members of all ages.
• The Healing Journey: a free six-week support group series beginning March 8 for widows and widowers younger than 60. Meets each Monday, March 8-April 12, 6-7:30 p.m., in the Aultman Woodlawn conference room. Facilitated by Bereavement Coordinator Beth Wengerd and Virginia Casady. • Sunday Grief Support Groups: held the second and fourth Sundays of each month, 1:30-3 p.m., for adults needing guidance and support after the loss of a loved one. Call 330-479-4805 to register for these free sessions.
Other monthly ongoing grief support programs at Aultman Woodlawn include:
• Newly Bereaved Support Group: second Tuesday of each month, 6-7:30 p.m., for those that have lost someone in the last six months. Call 330-479-4805 to register.
• Lunch Bunch Grief Support Group: second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. This group meets at area restaurants and offers socialization and fellowship for those who have lost a loved one. Lunch is at one's own expense. Call 330-479-4805 to register.
