Aultman College Announces Scholarship Winners

CANTON, Ohio (March 2, 2011) — Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences has awarded scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 to the following students pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at Aultman College:

• Beth Brothers, of Canton, has been awarded the Mary Roden Memorial Scholarship.

• Megan Felcyn, of Louisville, has been awarded the Bettie Sponseller Memorial Scholarship, the Ella Mae Kuecher Memorial Scholarship, and the Mary Roden Memorial Scholarship.

• Matthew Hizer, of New Philadelphia, has been awarded the Alice Ott Memorial Scholarship, the David and Debbie Thiel Family Scholarship, the Dianne J. Gibbs Geriatric Scholarship, the Ella Mae Kuecher Memorial Scholarship, and the Mary Roden Memorial Scholarship.

• Danielle Rollins, of Canton, has been awarded the Eileen Welker Williams Scholarship, the Helen Rajkovich Memorial Scholarship, and the Suzanne Spahr-Dudley Scholarship.

• Melissa Smith, of Canton, has been awarded the Alice Ott Memorial Scholarship.

• Rachel Sommers, of Canton, has been awarded the Helen Rajkovich Memorial Scholarship.

• Mallory Wells, of Shreve, has been awarded the Ella Mae Kuecher Memorial Scholarship and the Mary Roden Memorial Scholarship.

Each year, Aultman College awards scholarships that have been established by alumni, faculty or friends of the College to provide support for deserving students.  Scholarship recipients must meet the eligibility requirements as specified by the donor and are selected by a committee appointed by the president of the College, Rebecca Crowl. Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences, located in Canton, is a health-system-affiliated institution of higher learning committed to meeting the healthcare workforce needs of the region in the 21st century and beyond.
