CANTON, OHIO (March 26, 2012) – The Angel Auction is still weeks away, but online shoppers will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of auction items prior to the May 4 event.
Starting Monday, April 2, bids will be accepted on more than 400 items and services at www.aultmanangelauction.com. From trips to toys, there is truly something for everyone! Simply click on “Auction Items” to view the silent and live auction items available at the 2012 Angel Auction.
Just a few of the highlighted items include trips such as the Disney “Quest for the West” trip, a Gulf front condo vacation and an Antelope Creek fly fishing trip. Some of the featured electronic items include the new iPad, the Kindle Fire and the Xbox Kinect. In addition to sports memorabilia from Tim Tebow, Chris Spielman, Eddie George and others, a gorgeous Greenbrier golf package will be available for bidding. All items were donated through the generous support of the Women’s Board volunteers and community donors.
Bidding will continue the entire month of April, ending Monday, April 30. Online bidders who place winning bids will be notified electronically. The secure site, powered through Bidding for Good, takes the bidder’s credit card information, and the Women’s Board collects payment and arranges for shipment, which is at the buyer’s expense. All proceeds will support the Women’s Board pledge of $5 million to the Aultman Cancer Center.
The Angel Auction is an annual black-tie fundraising event celebrating its 43rd anniversary in 2012. A donation of $250 entitles the donor to an invitation to the event. Upon receiving an invitation, tickets may be purchased for an additional fee. For more information, call Aultman Volunteer Services at 330-363-6368.
