Research and Clinical Opportunities

If you're interested in becoming a doctor or pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to participate in research, observe in clinical areas and network with Aultman faculty, residents and medical students. You may have the opportunity to present your research in poster or oral form at the closing session July 31.

Attendance at the two-day Summer Symposium is a prerequisite to participating in the June 22-July 31 research/clinical experience. The six-week experience will consist of two, three-hour sessions per week. Sign-ups will take place at the symposium.

All students must read and complete the confidentiality form, along with the safety education and safety quiz. You must also receive a two-step TB test - which you may obtain from your primary care doctor or AultWorks Occupational Medicine - and submit documentation of it. Please be sure to review the Dress Code and Code of Conduct as well.

You will not be scheduled for your research/clinical experience unless all of the forms are properly completed and submitted. Please complete all of the necessary forms - confidentiality agreement, completed safety quiz and TB test verification - and bring the documentation with you to the Summer Symposium. You may also mail the forms in advance to:

You may obtain your background check at any local police or sheriff's department - or click here to search locations by county or ZIP code. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and healthy environment at the hospital.
