2024 Summer Symposium and Career Fair
Attend the June 13 Summer Symposium and Career Fair to learn from Aultman leaders in medicine, nursing, allied health and hospital administration.
Optional Clinical Observation Experiences
Whether you're interested in being a doctor, nurse, allied health specialist or other healthcare professional, the up-close clinical observation experiences are excellent learning opportunities for those who attended the June 13 Summer Symposium and Career Fair. Participants can choose two half-day observation experiences between July 8 – Aug. 2.
Participants in the clinical observation experiences also must attend one of the post-observation sessions on July 23 or Aug. 1.
Dress Code and Conduct
Aultman Hospital wants all participants to have an engaging and positive experience while observing. As acting members of the Aultman team, all participants must carry themselves in a respectful and professional manner. Doing this will enhance their experience and enable each student to make a positive impression.
Dress code is an important aspect of the Aultman culture. Appropriate attire conveys professionalism, maximizes safety and demonstrates courtesy. Clothing and appearance must be neat and clean. The specific guidelines are:
- A collared shirt or button-down with khaki or black pants.
- No sweatpants or jeans.
- No open-toed shoes, sandals or flip-flops.
- Tennis shoes may be worn if they are in good condition.
- No tank tops.
- Body piercings:
- Hoops/bars are NOT permitted on the face.
- Studs only are permitted on the face.
- Eye/tongue/nose/lip or other body piercings must not be visible to the public, except for a small facial stud piercing. - Tattoos:
- No tattoos from neck up. No obscene, vulgar, profane, racial, sexual or political tattoos may be visible.
