Mission Statement
The Aultman Hospital School of Surgical Assisting is committed to the quality education of surgical assisting students. The school is dedicated to educating students to become competent surgical assistants, while providing them with the opportunity for professional growth. The school is responsible for providing the education required for the student to take the certification exam by the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA).
Our Program
Developed with the help of the National Surgical Assisting Association, our program consists of five terms of 12 weeks each. The program begins with didactic coursework and escalates to the final term, which consists of 12 weeks of clinical experience.
