The goals of the Aultman Hospital School of Surgical Assisting are to:
Develop graduates who will successfully meet the entry-level expectation in the operating room. - Develop graduates who will recognize the need for lifelong learning.
- Maintain high academic standards and constantly update and revise the program curriculum.
- Present the didactic and clinical experiences necessary to successfully pass the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) examination.
