Inpatient and Outpatient Palliative Care
Palliative care can be part of treatment for any person with a serious or life-threatening medical condition. Palliative care seeks to relieve patients' suffering, control symptoms and restore functional capacity while remaining sensitive to personal, cultural and religious practices. Aultman offers an Inpatient Palliative Care Unit, located on the third floor of the main hospital.
Palliative care is also available in patients' homes or nursing-care facilities. Members of the outpatient Palliative Care Team are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Download our brochure for more information, or call 330-479-4805 or 1-800-628-430.
