Eligibility for Hospice Care
Any terminally ill person residing in Stark and surrounding counties is eligible for Aultman Hospice services. No one is denied care because of age, race, sex, religion or the ability to pay. Consent of the patient, family and the attending physician is required. A primary caregiver who can be responsible for the patient is also necessary.
When to Contact Aultman Hospice
Many families wait until their loved one’s last days to call hospice. We urge families to contact Aultman Hospice as soon as possible, so we can provide months of patient care and family support … instead of just days.
