The Aultman Security Services team is comprised of more than 50 officers. Our staff members provide a secure environment at Aultman Hospital, Aultman North, Aultman West, the Aultman Center for Pain Management, Bliss Tower and Aultman Woodlawn.
Our Responsibilities
The Aultman Security Services team:

Patrols the Aultman campus, including the parking lots and parking deck.
- Monitors the Aultman campus with more than 200 cameras that record to digital video recorders for instant review.
- Maintains fixed security posts in the emergency department, psychiatric unit and Security Command Center.
- Escorts patients, visitors and employees to/from vehicles 24/7.
- Assists with vehicle issues including flat tires, dead batteries and locked keys inside vehicles.
- Helps with patients who may be a threat to themselves, employees or other patients.
- Keeps patients’ valuables safe.
- Manages lost and found items.
Training and Experience
All Aultman security officers complete initial and annual competency training that includes Ohio Emergency Codes, Aultman procedures, crisis prevention and self-defense.All officers are certified in first aid and CPR as well. Currently, more than half of Aultman Security Services officers have police, fire and/or military experience.
