The Aultman Vascular Lab offers a variety of noninvasive vascular tests and screenings. We are a high-volume lab with quality measures in place to ensure consistent, high-quality exams for our patients.
The lab is located on the first floor of the Bedford building - in the Aultman Heart Center. We provide:
- Six reading physicians who review and interpret all exams in the vascular lab.
- Eight full-time vascular sonographers.
- Service to a variety of people such as outpatients and inpatients, along with emergency department, Acute Care Specialty Hospital and inpatient rehabilitation patients.
The Aultman Vascular Lab is ICAVL accredited in:
- Extracranial Cerebrovascular Testing (carotid arteries)
- Peripheral Venous Testing (venous ultrasound to look for blood clots)
- Peripheral
Arterial Testing (exam using blood pressure cuffs)
- Visceral Vascular Testing (renal arteries, aortic aneurysms)
Participation in the ICAVL accreditation process demonstrates the Aultman
Vascular Lab's commitment to providing a high level of patient care and
quality, along with consistent testing in the diagnosis of vascular
disease.
