If you've suffered a loss or want to help someone who's grieving, turn to Aultman Grief Services. We offer a variety of free resources to guide you through the grieving process and let the healing begin.
Educational Classes 
The Aultman Grief Services staff is available to speak free of charge at local schools, clubs, organizations, churches, synagogues and workplaces. You'll discover how to better understand grief, everything from symptoms and coping styles to helpful resources that are available. Call 330-479-4835 for more information.
Support Groups
Group meetings are offered for children, teens and adults who are coping with the loss of a loved one. Led by expert grief facilitators, these sessions are held at the Aultman Woodlawn facility located at 2821 Woodlawn Avenue in Canton, unless specified otherwise. Call Brenda Brown or Beth Wengerd at 330-479-4805 for more information and to register.
- The Healing Journey: a free six-week support group series beginning March 8, 2010, for widows and widowers younger than 60. Meets each Monday, March 8-April 12, 2010, 6-7:30 p.m., in the Aultman Woodlawn conference room. Facilitated by Bereavement Coordinator Beth Wengerd and Virginia Casady.
- Sunday Grief Support Groups: held the second and fourth Sundays of each month, 1:30-3 p.m., for adults needing guidance and support after the loss of a loved one.
- Newly Bereaved Support Group: second Tuesday of each month, 6-7:30 p.m., for those that have lost someone in the last six months.
- Lunch Bunch Grief Support Group: second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. This group meets at area restaurants and offers socialization and fellowship for those who have lost a loved one. Lunch is at one's own expense.
