Inpatient and Outpatient Palliative Care
Palliative care is the comprehensive management of patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs. It can be part of treatment for any person with a serious or life-threatening medical condition. Palliative care seeks to relieve patients' suffering, control symptoms and restore functional capacity while remaining sensitive to personal, cultural and religious practices.
Aultman offers a new Inpatient Palliative Care Unit, located on the third floor of the main hospital.
Palliative care is also available in patients' homes or nursing-care facilities. Members of the outpatient Palliative Care Team are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Download our brochure for more information or call 330-479-4805 or 1-800-628-430. The outpatient Aultman Palliative Care office is located at Aultman Woodlawn.
