Pastoral Volunteers
On-call ministers assist the Aultman Pastoral Care staff on weekends. More than 75 eucharistic ministers from surrounding Catholic parishes faithfully also volunteer their time and share their faith as they provide Holy Communion daily for all Catholic patients. A Catholic priest is on call 24 hours a day for any additional needs of Catholic patients such as the sacrament of reconciliation and the sacrament of the annointing of the sick.
When admitted patients request notification of their local clergy, our committed volunteers call the clergy and provide a valuable link between patients and their places of worship.
