Pediatric Follow-Up Clinics

Apnea Clinic
Sometimes a baby goes home from the hospital on a home apnea monitor. This monitor is used to measure the baby's heart and breathing rate.

If your baby has been ordered a home apnea monitor, you will be scheduled to for an apnea clinic visit 4-6 weeks after discharge. Your baby will be seen by one of the neonatologists or pediatric hospitalists and a nurse during this visit. This appointment is very important because it allows the doctor to know when it is safe to stop your baby's monitor. The Apnea Clinic nurse can be reached at 330-363-3475 for any questions you may have when you go home.

Gastrointestinal (GI) Clinic
Ibrahim Haddad, M.D., works in Pediatric and Adolescent Gastroenterology and Nutrition. In addition to performing diagnostic procedures, he sees patients in the clinic for follow-up evaluation. The GI clinic is located on the second floor of Aultman Hospital, in the outpatient department. For more information, call Aultman Pediatric Services at 330-363-5375.

Neonatal Follow-Up Program
The Neonatal Follow-Up Program addresses the special needs of your NICU baby and family. Medical specialists will periodically analyze your child's growth and development, furnishing the evaluation results to your pediatrician or primary-care physician.

The first follow-up visit will be held when your child is three months of age and will continue until age 7. For more information about the Neonatal Follow-Up Program, download our brochure or call 330-363-5375.
