Hospitalists are doctors who devote their medical practices to caring for hospitalized patients. Our hospitalists provide 24-hour coverage in the Pediatrics and Young-Adult Unit.
Hospitalists:
- Keep a close eye on your child’s progress in the hospital by seeing your child multiple times a day as needed.
- Know every hospital specialist and department – and understand how to guide your child’s care through the hospital system.
- Help your child through a smooth and speedy recovery process by following up on tests and adjusting treatment plans throughout the day.
Upon discharge from the hospital, your child will return to his or her primary care doctor.
