 Chest pain is the most common problem that brings patients to the Aultman Emergency Department (ED). The Aultman Chest Pain Center, located adjacent to the ED, helps determine whether a patient is having a heart attack or suffering from a less threatening condition such as acid reflux.
The Aultman Chest Pain Center offers: - Six-bed, dedicated unit with private rooms
- Unit staffed by emergency room physicians and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) nurses, who quickly diagnose cardiac issues
- Diagnostic testing including EKGs, cardiac enzyme tests and physical/chemical cardiac stress tests
- Patient rooms equipped with telephones, flat-panel TVs and on-demand educational videos
- 24-hour availability
