Heart Services: Chest Pain Center

Chest pain is the most common problem that brings patients to the Aultman Emergency Department (ED). The Aultman Chest Pain Center, located adjacent to the ED, helps determine whether a patient is having a heart attack or suffering from a less threatening condition such as acid reflux.

The Aultman Chest Pain Center offers:

• Six-bed, dedicated unit with private rooms
  
  
• Unit staffed by emergency room physicians and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) nurses, who quickly diagnose cardiac issues
  
  
• Diagnostic testing including EKGs, cardiac enzyme tests and physical/chemical cardiac stress tests
  
  
• Patient rooms equipped with telephones, flat-panel TVs and on-demand educational videos
  
  
• 24-hour availability
