Aultman Hospital submits bills to your insurance company and will do everything to advance the claim. It may become necessary for you to contact your insurance company and/or supply additional information in order to expedite your claim. Your policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. You have the final responsibility for payment of your hospital bill.
In addition to Aultman Hospital bills, you may also receive a bill from the physician who treated you. These additional bills are for services provided by doctors in diagnosing and interpreting test results while you were a patient. Cardiologists, pathologists, radiologists and other specialists provide these services and are legally required to submit a separate bill.
